SISHU empowers rural hospitals in India with training and low-cost smartphone-based tools to promote universal newborn screening detecting critical heart defects, hearing loss, hyperbilirubinemia, and early identification and management of at-risk conditions. A SVYM-UCLA initiative with global partners, SISHU aims to make early infant care affordable, scalable, and replicable across underserved communities worldwide.
